To Participate:
Submit a short description of how you feel as both a citizen of your country and Vidalia.

Event rules:
1. You may only enter for 1 account. You may NOT enter for multiple accounts you own.
2. Entry must be minimum 50 words. Maximum 250 words.
3. Entries Must include a picture that has BOTH your character and your country's flag. As always no nudity. This will disqualify you from this event and the next event along with a 1 week forum ban. Please do not use any copyrighted images. Original artwork is encouraged.
4. Volunteer staff may participate, as the winners will be picked by the admin staff.

Alright then, I'll enter

Well, living in the USA is a nice place to be, most of the people are nice, most of the super stars and pop stars are here, but all the way in California or something like that, but the USA still has some flaws that need to be changed, so I feel kind of neutral for living in the USA.
Being in Vidalia is the perfect place to be for me, especially that I get to have magical powers in Vidalia, and that you can do anything you want, unlike the USA which has lots of laws to be followed, to me, it feels like there's no rules to follow as a citizen in Vidalia, you also get to have lots of choices. So, I'd love to live in Vidalia in real life, if there was one.

^Hey cool picture I like living in the United States too! It's a lot of fun and there's all this glowing stuff! And crazy creatures that everybody rides! The United States is a really sweet place but sometimes it can be tough too, like grinding for gold can be boring or trying to upgrade your mount and then your like errrrr... but all in all I really enjoy the United States and when your work finally pays of it's awesome. The only thing that bothers me is all the bad stuff. And how everybody is always arguing all the time. Some people are like, “Obama didn't help anything!” and then other people will be all like, “Oh yeah, it was all Bush's fault!”

As a citizen of China, I would have to obey the rules of our country and should be productive at the same time so that if my time comes, I would have left behind a legacy be it for my children or for my fellow countrymen.  Living a fruitful life without regrets, that is how I should repay our national heroes who passed on their legacy to us.

As a citizen of Vidalia, I am still quite new and learning... thus there maybe some things that I have done wrong and rules I didn't know, I am very much willing to change my ways. Hopefully I can be well with my fellow Vidalians so that everyone would be happy once again. It sure is fun in Vidalia because there is always something new for me to learn, events to boot, friends to interact etc. It may seem like a fantasy but still you are dealing with real people that is what makes it fun here.

I was naturalized ten years ago and became a citizen of the United States of America, previously I was a citizen of Taiwan. As a dual citizen, I can link my experiences to being a citizen of Vidalia as well as other countries. In America, life holds so many opportunities and the cultures are diverse, you can't take a step outside of any city without getting overwhelming by new sensations and sights. For example, my home state North Carolina is part of the deep South, with the stereotypical fried chicken and what not, however as I moved up north into New York, I was completely taken aback, there were just huge skyscrapers and people bustling about everywhere 24/7, a complete turnaround to the more suburban South. On the other hand, Taiwan is pretty even where you have huge major cities. However, putting all differences between these two drastically different counties aside, they are both singular in every way possible and I love living in both countries. This same concept holds true for Vidalia. In Vidalia, you have kind Scions and high level players who are willing to help out an initiate, the same goes for the kind elderly people in Taiwan who are always out there to lend a hand to foreigners. Furthermore, there is a multitude of different players such as the rogues, magi, priests, warriors, and rangers who are analogous to the melting pot in America. So, come on out, and join everyone else in Vidalia for an adventure of your lifetime, just put on your equipment and mount up!

I live in the United States and im proud of it. Even in the worst of times when some places might fall we stand strong. Plenty of chances to do many different type of stuff. We might fight with each other but so does a family. In Vidalia it is much the same way we fight with each other and alot of times we end up giving each other a hug. When there is an issue in Vidalia we all stand strong to help fix it. We are all a family even if we arent blood.

While i technically live in the USA, and its a blast to live here i belong to a select group of people known as...TEXANS. We are proud of our state, proud to be texans despite what everyone else stereotypically depicts us as. Texas to the bone! Texas running through my veins and other than the unbearable heat (no not the team ^.^) its one of a kind and i wouldn't want to live anywhere else for now.
OH VIDALIA!.....VIDALIA!.....Where the Undead roam free. Who knew that you would be so welcoming to ME!?!? I love being a citizen of Vidalia because of all the different terrains it holds and the mysteries locked away waiting to be discovered. Always something to do in Vidalia whether it's hunting vicious werewolves or cute baby dragons, Vidalia has something to offer everyone. Being a citizen of vidalia makes me feel all warm inside like when your sitting next to a torch basking in its warmth and exp. Also never having to go to the restroom or eat is pretty cool not to mention handy. Love having wings too!

I’m actually three-quarters Welsh and a quarter English, so I very much fit into the spirit of the United Kingdom which is compromised of all 4 countries in the British Isles. Some of the key qualities that we are brought up with here have also applied to my time in Vidalia: loyalty, courage, morality, perseverance and honour. I am proud to be both British and Vidalian for all these shared characteristics. Whether it’s being determined enough to level and test myself against bosses or to withstand the years of attacks by the IRA and other terrorists. My country has been well renowned for being a nation of people who are respected and looked upon as having high standards as well as being called upon many times to assist other countries. Despite our relatively small size, the people of England are proud and loyal to their causes, while being humble and modest when accepting praise. Both countries also have monarchies and pledge allegiance to King Valcroy and Elizabeth II, as could been seen this very month with her Diamond Jubilee ceremony celebrating her reign of 60 years.
In conclusion I cannot really compare the two citizenships as they share so many common traits and I am proud of both.

As a Vidalian, I feel the pressure to keep Starglade safe from the monsters constantly encircling our fair city, but as an American, it is far harder to tell who is a threat and who isn't. After 9-11, the anthrax mail scare, and the DC sniper attacks in the span of 13 months, I moved away from Washington D.C. but that does not mean life is good. The flag reminds me of a better time, when I felt safe and comfortable living in the USA, and I look forward to the day when I feel that way again.
