Anyways with the new server coming out today I started to think of classes I could play there. It sucks that I am going to have to ditch my Priest after all the leveling but I know with the 2x EXP I can catch up there much easier. The class that instantly came to mind was Mage or Archer, but I like classes with a wide variety of skills and Archer didn't look like it suited that role. So now I am down to Fire Mage or Ice Mage. Can somebody explain to me the major differences between the two? I am not a major damage junky so I really don't care which is strongest. I care about which has more survivability (can solo dungeons) and which is wanted more in parties. Thanks for the help.
Yes ice mage is kinda easy to build,but he cant pack up that much of a dmg,and the blizzard can be easily interrupted by Rangers...On the other hand,fire one is great for PvP,especially with blink skill at lvl 5 (great asset at Dragonspine),but requires a lot more mana...So i would count it as a Crowd controller (Ice) vs 1v1 Nuker (Fire)....The choice is solely on you,depending on your game style
